Our po’ boys are the city’s finest. We start with French bread imported from Gambino’s Bakery in New Orleans, fill it to the brim with your choice of crispy fried oysters, catfish, snapper, gulf shrimp, sausage or chicken, dress it and serve it garnished with garlic or sweet potato fries and homemade coleslaw. You’ll find additional Louisiana imports on the menu that include Patton’s Sausage Co.’s spicy sausage, Zapp’s potato chips, Community Coffee Company’s gourmet Louisiana blend coffee and Abita Brewing Company’s beers.
In 2010, our gumbo was an SF Weekly “Best of” winner. Among our house specialties are real Louisiana jambalaya and Camellia red beans and rice with andouille sausage. If you’ve never tasted seafood gumbo, be prepared to fall in love. Served over rice, ours is flavorful and hearty with plenty of heat. Don’t forget to save room for a fresh beignet or slice of pecan pie with a café au lait.
